Atlantic Gold

Some mornings the Atlantic shows off. This is one of those mornings.

Shot in Carolina Beach on the north end. Beach at first light — before the crowds, before the noise, when my only company was the waves crashing against the pier pilings and a sky turning every shade of gold. Those footprints in the sand? Mine. I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
